Austin's Finest Honoree's are Central Texas professionals who strive to make a difference both professionally and personally through their dedication, innovation, and self-starter attitude.
Selected nominees will be provided the opportunity to grow, connect and celebrate while being surprised and highlighted from start to finish. Our 10-week program is designed to expand their network, develop professional skills, and generate experience impacting a mission with measurable outcomes.
2024 Austin’s Finest Honorees
Amber Myers
Amber Myers, the Director of Legal Outreach and a Staff Attorney at the Texas Justice Court Training Center, is responsible for training justices of the peace, constables, and court staff on various legal matters. Apart from her professional role, she is actively involved in the judicial education community at a national level as a member of the National Association of State Court Judicial Educators (NASJE). Locally, she volunteers with the Junior League of Austin, Ballet Austin Guild, and serves as a board member for Impact Counseling. She also volunteers as a member of the Texas Indigent Defense Legislative Committee and as a member of the State Bar of Texas Legal Services to the Poor in Criminal Matters. Amber is a graduate of the University of Utah and Baylor Law School. Her background is in criminal prosecution, child welfare law, and civil law for counties. Prior to her current position, she served as a prosecutor in Burnet, Blanco, and Williamson Counties before joining the Training Center in 2019.
Anastasia Navach
Anastasia is a girl mom, a dog mom, a plant mom and a wife. She’s a lover of natural beauty, delicious food & drink, laughter, authenticity, live music, and friends who feel like family.
She’s passionate about being of service to her community and working to support the CF Foundation came about organically and feels like a natural fit. She’s honored to join the fight in helping to find a cure!
Asher Dalgleish Quirk
Asher is the recruitment manager for the Texas Roller Derby where she helps further their mission to be a strong, self-sustaining, inclusive and affirming local Austin organization that enriches the lives of its members and enhances the spirit of its community through their shared passion for the sport of roller derby, dedication to the empowerment of all women and non-binary athletes, and unyielding commitment to having fun!
Asher has been involved with the CF Foundation for many years now, supporting her niece, Harper. She is apart of Harper’s Heros. Asher has helped host many fundraisers such as the 65 Roses Garden Party and Tour De Frio.
Asher has worked in residential construction for the past seven years and is currently in the process of making a career shift.
Caitlin Flanders
Caitlin Flanders joined the Texas Medical Association in July of 2022 as Director of Public Affairs with a focus on women’s health, Medicaid, budget, behavioral health, and physician workforce issues. Prior to TMA, Caitlin most recently served as chief of staff in the Texas House, for a member who sat on the House committees on State Affairs and Calendars, and before that was legislative director for a Texas House member from Bryan/College Station, who served on the House Appropriations Committee. Caitlin has additional policy experience as a staffer in the Senate and with outside interest groups focused on healthcare, the budget, transportation, criminal justice, and economics. Caitlin grew up in Christoval and Austin, and later attended the University of Texas at San Antonio and The University of Texas at Austin. She currently lives in Austin with her husband. In her free time she enjoys baking, spending time with her two dogs, Ellie and Gracie, traveling, and riding horses. She is happy to discuss Lord of the Rings and British murder mysteries at any time.
Lindsay Richards
Lindsay Richards is an experienced Trial Attorney. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and her law degree from South Texas College of Law in Houston. She previously worked as an Assistant District Attorney in Galveston, Fort Bend, Travis County and Williamson County. As a Prosecutor, she tried the most difficult and complex cases. She specialized in Adult Sexual Assaults and Domestic Violence, taking on the toughest facts and never backing down all while maintaining a heart for victims. She has tried at least 100 criminal cases in her career from DWI's to Murders. Where most people shy away from things, Lindsay faces difficult cases with passion and grit. She is responsible for trying more Adult Sexual Assaults than almost any Prosecutor in the State. She brings the same passion and perseverance to her Criminal Defense work. She believes that people need help in their most difficult moments and always treats her clients with dignity.
Sarah Gojer
Sarah Gojer, Ph.D., M.P.H. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Dell Medical School. She practices as a pediatric psychologist at Dell Children’s Medical Center (DCMC) where she primarily serves patients within the pediatric rheumatology clinic and within the pediatric cystic fibrosis center. Dr. Gojer specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy for youth experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and acute and chronic illness.
Dr. Gojer is a proud double Longhorn, as she received her B.S. in Psychology, B.A. in Spanish, and Ph.D. in School Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin. She also holds an M.P.H. in Behavioral Sciences from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University. Dr. Gojer completed her predoctoral internship in child clinical psychology at the Child and Family Guidance Center in Los Angeles, CA, where she specialized in treating children and families experiencing high rates of trauma and health disparities. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric psychology at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD, where she worked at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center as part of the psychiatry consultation-liaison team and within a variety of integrated specialty clinics including pediatric GI, urology, nephrology, primary care, and oncology. Dr. Gojer’s research and clinical interests include further understanding best practices for integrated behavioral health, serving Spanish-speaking children and families and reducing their health disparities, as well as evidence-based interventions for medical coping, pain management, and adherence to ongoing medical regimens. In the Central Texas pediatric cystic fibrosis center, Dr. Gojer provides CBT-based outpatient therapy for patients experiencing impairing emotional and behavioral difficulties and also helps to improve factors such as medical adherence, procedural anxiety, and coping with medical illness and hospitalization.
Stephanie Solomon
Steph Solomon is an entrepreneur and senior marketing professional based in Austin, TX, with over 15 years of experience leading initiatives across nonprofits and the tech sector. Currently Stephanie is the Enterprise Content Marketing Lead at Miro, a software company with headquarters in Amsterdam and San Francisco. In addition to her day job in tech, this year Steph launched her floral design business, The Austin Aromatic. Through this venture, she brings her creativity and passion for flowers to life. Steph has earned numerous accolades throughout her career, including Miro Culture Champion, IBM Best of Marketing, and PPAI's Image Award for her rebranding work with a small tech startup. Steph's commitment to the nonprofit sector is notable, particularly her support of the CF Foundation, where she served as president of the local Tomorrow's Leaders chapter for six years and was honored as Volunteer of the Year in 2021. In 2023, she and her husband Sean were inducted into the CF Foundation's National Leadership Council to recognize their commitment to the foundation. Other charitable endeavors include serving on the Central Texas Food Bank's Restaurant Weeks committee, leading the volunteer ambassador program at IBM, and doing pro bono marketing work for the Innocence Project of Texas.
